La Souce is the brainchild of Carlson Teloka. Having reared fish since his childhood and built many water features for his Koi ponds he decided to turn his hobby into a business. At the time he had been working in the Engineering/manufacturing sector, however, after more than 20 years in this field he became tired of the countless hours and hectic pace.
Taking his inspiration from the natural surroundings of the La Souce estate on which he currently resides, he designs, builds and installs one-of-a-kind water features to meet his clients’ demands.
The humble individual says he owes his knowledge and appreciation for the environment to two mentors in his life. The first being his grandparents, who have long passed and the second being his father Charles Teloka who continues to be a great inspiration and support.
Carlson together with his wife Indira also works closely with decorators and event co-ordinators to provide plant-scapes and water feature designs for venues as an alternative to the usual balloons and fabric decorations. These designs can also be incorporated for religious events, such as, temple/church/mosque functions, opening ceremonies, weddings, graduations, prayer meetings, yagnas, etc.
